IT’S FINALLY CHRISTMAS!!!

via GIPHY

Okay, so maybe Christmas isn’t until next weekend. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the sweet spirit leading up to the big day. We have curated a list of fun and easy things you can do to celebrate the Holiday spirit all week long.

Chinese Lantern Festival

Located at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds, this Lantern Festival will light up the district with its fully-illuminated lanterns. Though the Chinese Lantern Festival isn’t necessarily a Christmas tradition, this family-friendly festival will surely bring in the Chinese New Year, just in time for 2018! Be sure to check out all of the cultural performances and handmade arts and crafts. Also, don’t forget to try out all of the amazing Chinese foods and beverages!

Head to The Arkansas State Fair for more information on tickets and viewings.

Christmas Movie Marathon

This is one of my favorite activities to do around the Holidays. There is nothing better than sitting around a warm fire, making hot chocolate (with marshmallows and whipped cream, of course!), and lounging around in comfy pajamas while watching your favorite Christmas movies! So grab your friends, your favorite Holiday mug, and enjoy an afternoon of Holiday movies.

Garvan Gardens

I truly am biased but I must say that Garvan Gardens is the BEST place to walk through for Christmas lights. This beautiful botanical garden covers over 18 acres of Holiday lights that are sure to bring cheer to the young and old. Not to mention, the hot chocolate is free! So grab your Winter coat, bring your loved ones, and enjoy the wonderful light display. Don’t forget to stop by the gorgeous glass chapel on your way out!

Check out Garvan Gardens Holiday Lights for more info.

Drive Thru Christmas Lights

The cool thing about driving around town is that there are Christmas lights everywhere you go. If the weather is too cold or windy outside, you are still able to enjoy the views. Try driving through local neighborhoods to find all sorts of displays. There are some really gorgeous lit houses and there are also super fun inflatables for kids to enjoy as well. You never know what you may find.

Robinson Center Music Hall

If Holiday lights aren’t your thing, the Robinson Center Music Hall is the place to go! Since this is the week leading up to Christmas, the Robinson theater has two more viewings for Moscow Ballet Great Russian Nutcracker ballet.

Not to mention, Mannheim Steamroller will be performing live December 26th for an awesome Holiday showing. For those who want to celebrate Christmas for one more day, this will be an awesome opportunity before prepping for the New Year!

For tickets, check out the Robinson Music Hall.

Merry Christmas
